Lovely little place, just visited today. Great atmosphere and superb hospitality! Note to the owners: not sure if you read these, but we managed to find the farmshop you recommended and stocked up on the Ashover Cider :)

This is a gem of a find, by the time you've got to the top of the hill you're ready to sample some of the assortment of lagers and beers. The landlord is very knowledgeable of the drinks he is serving. All the covid requirements were met. All in all a very friendly bar
The ale doesn't get much better than this! Great quirky place, Mark makes you more than welcome. Superb local.
Fantastic micro pub. Friendly and entertaining owner. Excellent range of well chosen real ale, many bottles and anything else the discerning drinker would like. Tasteful and spacious interior. My favourite pub in Matlock. If only their was an escalator to get up the hill.
