Very unfriendly landlady, who laid down the rules in a very bossy manner. Treated us like second class citizens as we had our dogs with us. A one point she threw a bucket of dirty water from cleaning the steps inches from where we were sitting outside! The food was average, wine was not chilled properly. The waitress who came to our table was very sweet and helpful, got some water for our two dogs. Even though we live not far from here we would not go back as we were not made to feel very welcome.

Arrived for large gathering numbers not exact but very accommodating food good and hearty as cold March day service good as lovely rural country public house set with in stunning cunteyside in idillic Black and white village
One of our first meals out post-covid, and would be happy to recommend The New Inn! Fabulous venue with lovely staff, and the food was great. We would be happy to recommend.
