Passed this pub over the summer on bike rides and always very popular. We finally stopped by today and loved it. Decent non-showy pleasant punters and the beer and always on tap were very, very fresh! Hoping for return again soon.

A great place to stop for a pint and a bite to eat in you way along the Wey. A ploughman's a halloumi burger and a beef burgundy were pleasant nets enjoyed with local ale.
Waited an hour for our Sunday lunch, apparently because the staff member who took the order, forgot to put it through. It definitely wasn’t worth the wait. The staff were apologetic and offered free drinks but that didn’t really compensate for the lost time or the fact we had to rush our meal to get back for a delivery. Beef was dry and chicken was bland. Roast potatoes tasted liked they been reheated from the day before and cooked in old oil. A great setting for a socially distanced outdoor drink but we won’t be eating there in a hurry again.
Friendly service. Lovely food. Sampled the vegan fish and chips. Very tasty. Drinks were a bit pricey though. Would have a soft drink next time. Still not sure why everything has to be served in plastic and takeaway boxes?
A lovely pub that is right on the banks of the River Wey nice friendly staff. I have unfortunately, only been here during Covid-19, but they do a great take out. If you want to buy alcohol, food must be brought at the same time. The chips are great and lovely to have with a pint after paddling in the river with a pint. 100% would recommend.
