We visited The New Inn whilst on holiday on The Broads in early October. We had moored on Short Dyke which is about a ten minute walk from the pub, which was just as well given the size of the portions. The menu was not massive and the food typically 'pub grub.' The portions though were generous, at reasonable prices and neither of us could manage a dessert. We found the interior of the pub slightly sterile, lacking in character, but the beer and cheery service made up for that. Yet another definite for when we are back on The Broads.

Lovely pub. We were cycling today and came across it on the Sustrans 1 route from/to Norwich. We only had drinks but it looked cosy inside and had lots of tables outside. Landlady was friendly and filled up our water bottles with ice cold water - much appreciated, as it was a hot afternoon! Would definitely like to come again. It looks like there is nice walking in the area with swimming opportunities, and it is also a good place to launch a boat or canoe.
