Nice, quirky pub. Great place to go for a quiet drink. The dart boards are decent with good lighting and there's also a pool table. Everyone we met there was friendly, and most of them enjoyed saying hello to our dog :)

Simple no frills accommodation in a great location. The landlord was really friendly, breakfast was great and the pub served decent beer. Room was warm and the bed comfortable. Really good value too. Location was perfect with food close by and really close to Forest of Dean for Mountain Biking. Could have been a little cleaner.
An old fashioned local pub. The interior is nothing fancy, but the drinks are very reasonably priced and you get a warm welcome, both from Dirk the landlord and the locals. You can play darts, pool and quoits
