This is a proper Welsh Pub make no mistake. Be polite and leave a tip with a smile and you'll always be welcome. I have family who have stayed several nights and had nothing but praise for accommodation, food and staff. Top marks from us!

THE iconic Welsh village pub. I happened to pay my 1st ever visit on the landlady's 30th anniversary of running the pub on new year's day 2020. I was practically the only outsider or Englishman in the place but made very welcome. Good beers. Friendly people. Decent food and in my case a fireworks display as well! Add this place to your bucket list, there aren't many places left like this.

Booked a double room several months ago, all good but no written confirmation given and told we could pay on the night, no deposit needed. Telephoned the owner a few days before our arrival only to be told that they had no record of our booking even though she knew our names!! The owner then tried to back pedal saying she had a large party in over the weekend and she would not of taken our booking.......when clearly she has had the party booking after our own booking and decided to cancel our booking without even having the manners to let us know, leaving us high and dry to make us change our plans at the last minute. If you book over the phone with the landlady make sure you get written confirmation otherwise you will find yourself without a room. The owner clearly doesn't care about pre booked customers as we could have arrived on the day only to find ourselves without any accommodation for the night.
Yvonne is a superb hostess who prepare delicious home cooked meals
