We ordered Christmas day dinner from The New Inn, knowing that they always offer good food. However, we were worried the takeaway might not be the same, but we need not of worried. What an amazing service, meal and complete package! On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff who had our food ready exactly on time for a pre booked slot, the bags of food just kept coming! We got it home and we were amazed how every detail had been thought of; crackers, breads, starters, mains, more gravy than even we could manage, desserts and drinks. We even had leftovers! All we want to say is a massive thank you, our expectations were completely surpassed and I would not hesitate to recommend The New Inn

Can't thank The New Inn enough for our Christmas dinner. Amazing food so much and so tasty. Didn't have room for the desert so will have that for my supper I think!!

The website states family friendly pub. I can't say that this was the experience that we received. We went for a meal with our two sons who are 18 and 20. When bringing our drinks he decided to question their age despite them being with us, their parents. After 2 minutes of humiliation for my sons Which left them feeling quite embarrassed in front of others, he then said that legally they are allowed to have one pint if they are with parents. How good of him to let us know! We weren’t all on a massive bender, it was a quiet family meal! So what was his point ? Kind of took the edge off of enjoying the meal which to be fair was very nice. To further massage his own ego whilst paying the bill at the end of our meal He reminded My sons again of the need to bring ID, they have been warned! Well thanks for the warning but we will not be returning.
