This is the best chippy I have had in a very long time. Good traditional chippy. Been here many times and if you're not from wigan it is definitely worth travelling for. Tasty every single time! Very quick service seen to straight away and order ready within minutes. They have the friendly staff that are so welcoming. I have recommended this chippy to quite a few friends and family and they have loved it also!

Nice price lovely food better then deanery's school meals
The fish, chips and mushy peas meal here is by far the finest we have ever eaten. We travel quite often to Wigan from Cheshire East and always eat there for our mid-day meal. The ladies who wait on and take your order are very friendly and very efficient. The New Chippery has a wide range available on its menu.
I sent my friends to this restaurant with my highest recommendations. I go their often. This recommendation is always successful. The meals are great and the stuff is generous and cooperative. Whenever we go to this place we enjoy a gorgeous evening. I warmly recommend this restaurant.
