Local Lakeland

I am lucky to have this wonderful cafe and book shop right by my work as it makes for the perfect break from the office. WiFi is almost non existent though. I can barely load a webpage on their coffee shop network. Cakes are delicious

Lovely attentive staff. Very good vegetarian menu. A good variety of books to browse. One of my favourate places in Cockermouth.

Great bookshop. Well run. Helpful friendly staff. Helpful shelf notes on well organised shelves with well presented books. Nice wee cafe at the back managing to offer reasonably spaced tables and service with some COVID precautions.
