Gorgeous food, very friendly staff and a wonderful chef (Kate), who took the time to make sure I had a lovely meal despite my intolerances to dairy and gluten. I will definitely return. 5

Excellent beer and food
The food was great,but the service was a little slow. A little disappointed that they didn't serve a lunchtime meal was only looking for soup or a sandwich but ended up having a full meal.
Excellent food, lovely atmosphere, everybody very friendly and accommodating! Went between Christmas and New Year with 4 adults and a baby, best call before to book a table. All the food we had was home cooked, suet steak pudding particularly delicious.
Lovely steak pie, veg was all cooked perfectly (still crunchy) and the carrot cake and creme brulea where both wonderful. Great staff and a lively place. Would definitely recommend.
