Really enjoyed my visit, especially the wash. I needed a style for an interview and Essence did a great job with my locs. She was professional and timely. I would definitely recommend her as a hair stylist.

My first appointment and experience with Essence at The Natural Spot was AMAZING!!! Being natural since birth and having different experiences from past beauticians, Essence Gabe me some key points about my hair that I never know about until now. I highly recommend anyone to her who have natural hair or wanted someone to start their transition from perm to natural hair.

My experience has not been pleasant. It's one thing to have a trade. It's an altogether different experience for the trade to be presented with professional business acumen consistently. This has not been the case. As a business owner seeking to increase revenue long term, how you communicate, the timeliness of your communications and the pleasantness [or not] of your attitude communications -- translates to 15 other people one customer talked to. Justifying slothfulness doesn't win referrals. Whenever there are two or more people, eventually something will need to be clarified, especially in growing a business. This is not something you have modeled well. You could use some coaching on how your lacking in this area affects a person's life, appearance and how they perceive you as a professional using professionalism in all forms of communications. May this feedback provide an opportunity for growth and how to better service more than one type of customer.
