It is a the biggest monument that have seen... It is so impressive. I highly recommend if you are in kiev...
You can pay and take a trip up the statue and go on the viewing platform with some stunning views. To go all the way up the top there are some very narrow ladders so be prepared, they do confirm with you at the bottom that you are fit and capable of completing the trip up to the top. The museum is informative and worth a walk around if you are looking to kill an hour or two.

Very beautiful place..there is history of ukrain..and located on hill..very fresh air we got..and go there with gloves and jacket..very cool wind...
I love world war 2 history, liked the structures as well although we had quite a time to comprehend the scale size of these monuments as we noticed.
A GREAT DAY OUT\ You can easily spend a good few hours walking around here, Looking at the huge selection of military hardware, statues and monuments. Best of all it's free You can pay for a ticket to go inside and behind the barriers if you wish too. (we did not see the need to do this so can't comment on it's worth, but it did look like a very impressive exhibition)
