I have visited The Mint many times and always love it. The atmosphere is great no matter what kind of experience you are looking for. The conservatory at the front is perfect for a nice romantic meal or if you fancy delicious cocktails and a catch up the main bar is ideal. They offer amazing value set menus and the food is always delicious! There is a great choice and even thought it's inexpensive, the food always looks like top restaurant standard. The steak pie is a must! The only one thing I could fault was that on one visit I had the red velvet cheesecake but, even though still delicious, it didn't taste like red velvet at all. It had an overpowering taste of lemon. As I say though, still delicious and I ate every bit!

Staff are very attentative, clean and comfortable. Food tasted very nice but unfortunately had a hair in my chicken, the staff dealt with it very professionally and quickly. Think it was just a pure accident as the place is spotless.
Very good food and service.This is a great restaurant to take the parents. For around 30 I had a starter and main meal with 3 cold fresh pints.

The food was amazing but found seating area at door and bar cold. Will definitely go again but would try and book different table.
