I had a takeaway from this pub last night, the service was efficient, staff very friendly, food amazing and reasonably priced. We had the smoked salmon starter, garlic bread, fish pie and crab cakes. Huge portions and delicious - thank you!

Lovely country pub with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Sunday roast was good and so was the pie of the day. Tasty food and friendly staff. Big portions and good prices. Would recommend if you are in the area!
Visited this pub last year and loved it. Due to covid we booked a table for every evening of our holiday before we arrived. I'm glad we did as always busy. The menu is simple but varied and the food is great. Added to that the staff are brilliant and dealing with social distancing while maintaining a great friendly pub atmosphere!. Thoroughly recommend if your visiting the area
Able to book on the day for an early dinner. The pub has nailed being Covid-safe, really good system in place. Friendly staff, tasty freshly made food and quick service. Really switched on for allergy sufferers and able to adapt menu slightly if possible. If we were local we would visit here regularly. Really lovely pub.
Fantastic food, excellent service, nothing to fault here! We were accommodated early for our dinner reservation, despite being very busy on a Saturday evening, and every item we ordered was prepared to perfection. Broccoli stilton soup, fish cakes, halloumi burger, pan fried sea bass, rump steak, wines, and a gin cocktail, all delicious. We will definitely visit again for a meal the next time we are in Cornwall.
