I have always gone to Mill Lane Chippy and they have been excellent every time I go. My girlfriend and I both had batterd sausages, chips and curry sauce tonight and it was spot on. The best chippy in Macclesfield.

Visited this Chippy for the 1st time two days ago. Not impressed. I chose this Chippy as I live literally just 5 minutes away from the Chippy but by the time I got home the chips were soggy and could only be described as warm at best while some were almost cold. It was clear from their appearance that some were from an earlier fry up. The fish were a reasonable size and OK but I would not recommend the chips to ANYONE! I shall definitely be looking elsewhere in future

We had fish chips and peas yesterday from the Mill Lane Chippy. They were one of the nicest chippy teas I've had in a long time. The chips were amazing. I'll definitely be going here again. Worth 5 's

This is the 3rd chippy I've been to this week and it was amazing the chips were really fresh and hot and the portion size was huge will definately be coming to this chippy regular from now on. I also think it should be open on Sundays as there's not alot of places decent to eat on a sunday

Maybe I arrived at a bad time, but I don't think I've had worse chips. I don't think it's quite the same since the change of staff.
