This was once just another local pub that had lost it's way. Not any more. From the outside you can tell that the new owners care about you and your comfort. They've provided an outdoor area for you to relax in. The inside has had a massive revamp too, and to a tasteful and stylish degree. The staff are welcoming, attentive and professional. As for the food on offer, you'd be hard pressed to find better anywhere in Rotherham. The Head Chef Vanessa loves cooking and feeding people and it shows. My wife and I had the Ribs and Belly Pork respectively and both dishes were stunning. Cooked to absolute perfection, and believe me I rarely give that kind of feedback. If you love eating great food in relaxing surroundings then The Mill Dam is definitely for you.

Eaten here on 3 different occasions Sunday lunch is lovely no frozen rubbish all fresh and homemade Yorkshire puddings adult 7.95 kids 5.95 definitely value for money good service staff pleasant.
I can’t fault this place, it has been refurbished to the highest standard both inside and out. No expense spared! It looks and feels modern and clean and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Food is top class, we like to eat out often and have been looking for a good local for food and Saturday night drinks and The New Mill Dam has it covered!
Wow!... I visited this pub for the first time with my partner Andy and my dog Sasha. The new decking from outside at the front is ample and very appealing. Sam, the landlord came out and said 'hi' and took time out to sit down and talk to us and fuss Sasha, which is excellent. Everyone that were sat outside were so friendly and chatted, lovely atmosphere All of the staff were polite, and welcoming, very nice to see indeed. We will definitely be using this pub again as it will be our new local. I highly recommend this pub to everyone
This was the first visit to the Mill Dam and we found it to be really good experience, clean child friendly staff who presented really good food, a bonus is that it wasn't expensive. Worth a visit.
