Staying in the area for a couple of days chose the Middleton Arms for our Saturday evening meal. Six of us (two adults two children two dogs) were made more than welcome. The food was delicious and two other guests who had been very accomodatiing allowing us to sit next to them in a little snug area with the dogs were freindly and chatty. This was a great choice for us our request for a gluten free menu was met with \almost anything on our menu can be made gluten free\ was perfect. Thank you for a lovely evening. I have called Andy to ask if we could have my wife's birthday there. Not only he said yes, but we had a plan sorted literally on the spot within 5 minutes! They sorted absolutely everything, all I had to do was to turn up. It was fantastic. My wife loved every minute of it and nothing was too much of an ask. If you want a great experience, go here!

We're from the US and are planning a trip to Pickering when this pandemic has been defeated. Your pub looks absolutely delightful. We so look forward to our visit.
