Great pub and great service. Set up really well for current social distancing and very clean. Food was great and excellent portions as well as reasonably priced. Good selection of food and beverages with plenty of room to sit inside and able to sit outside as well if weather permitting. Waitress provided excellent service and made us feel very welcome. Will visit again.

Amazing carvery, huge portions with wide choice of veg/meats. Everything is kept hot and fresh. Nicely distanced from other tables and service is very prompt. Can't wait for our next visit!
Nice pub with good food. I guess it is a little hard to reach but worth a visit. The Sunday roast buffet looked very tempting but went for the burger which was very very good. Prices are also reasonable and we have been served very quickly. Kids were also happy since there was a games corner with plenty of board games to chose from.
Top quality food one of the best pubs in my area. Also in my opinion beats all the pubs open in the town Abingdon just down the road from drysandford. Carvery is also brilliant, definitely go and visit/support it in this tough time/covid.
Was recommended to try the Merry Miller and decided to pop in after a Friday morning walk. Very Friendly staff, and had a great chat with the Owner. Ordered some bar food which was really good, and really enjoyed the the surroundings. The beer was kept in very good order, and looking around they really make an effort to bring new customers in, with numerous themed evenings. They are well know for there Carvery on a Sunday which our friends have tried and found to be excellent. They welcome children, and opposite there are some great walks through the Nature Reserve, and Woods. Really good value, and not over Priced. Would recommend.
