Great place for a well balanced fully flavoured curry. The mix grill Sizzlers are particularly mouthwatering. The curried minced lamb (keema) is my favourite. I think they do the best cheesy nan in the West Mids. Staff are friendly , the boothed seating in the restaurant area is comfortable and the huge screen is awesome if you have something to watch (sports etc). The manger even gave us the remote control for the TV so that we could view any YouTube videos that took our fancy. The social distancing was observed well and sanitising gel was provided (Covid guidelines). The draught beer was good but there was no bourbon whiskey. Good selection of Gin , vodka, and rum however.

Phenomenal food. Not too expensive. Great drinks. Great dining area. Only gripe: on a couple of occasions I was given the wrong food when I ordered a take away for collection!

Back room was decent and had a good atmosphere on a Friday night. Food was ok, think the curries aren't quite there yet. Sauces need more thickness and flavour

Not the best looking of places, but it has had a minor face lift recently and the kitchen has been enlarged. What has been done is pretty good. Nice new open kitchen lets you see whats cooking and traditional bar does look a little dated next to it. But its the food where it gets its top marks. Freshly cooked, and full of flavour, the mixed grille was tastier than many places in the surrounding area. Other dishes were just as tasty and it didn't cost as much as other establishments. Drinks were equally well priced and cheap. Large car park and easy access to the front bar, and lounge with the kitchen. Can get busy when there is football on, but otherwise can be nice and quiet. There is more refurbishment work planned so hopefully the rest of it will be looking good soon. Get past the work in progress and there is fantastic food and drink to be enjoyed. Would definitely recommend.
