A very good pub with a good changing selection of beers. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They take the covid guidance seriously and I've always felt very safe here. The outside area is large and has a lot of tables, the only thing I would like to see changed would be more heaters outside as the weather starts to get colder.

Traditional pub on Hatfield Road. A little quieter than the pubs right in the City Centre but lots of ‘regulars’ plus some passing trade. Great selection of real ales, changing regularly. Also great pie selection!!! Plus other home cooked pub fair. Friendly staff and customers - would be very easy to become a regular here!
Excellent visit. As always here, well organised and friendly. The barmaid on was outstanding.
Just popped in here while walking from the train station to town. Sign out front said delicious pies, so I got one. It was delicious! Good beer selection, dart board. Perfect stop on the way.
Well organised for current problems. Nice atmosphere and no overly officious staff which is a complete turnoff. Oh should say great beers well kept. Thanks
