I’m really disappointed with the attitude of the staff here. I politely asked if their meat was halal, to which they condescendingly responded “look at all our customers, what do you think?” After explaining that I’d feel more comfortable seeing a halal certificate than to stereotype their customers they began shaking their heads and tutting. After claiming they would show me the certificate, they continued to serve others and completely negated my presence, all the while continuing to tut and speaking in their own language. I’ve never before been shamed for requesting to see a halal certificate and following their reaction, and the simple fact that they’re not advertised as being halal (online or within the premises), I would certainly consider their meat to be non-halal.

Great food and service! It's run by a lovely family and they were so nice.. their food is authentic and amazing. The place is also so nice and cozy! Definitely a great place to get a taste of Mediterranean and Turkish food.
I did enjoy the food here, I love Mediterranean cuisine anyway so there is some bias to the review. It's quite a small place I feel like it's more of a takeaway place with a few seats for people to dine in, not really a restaurant and bar. Service was ok but it was quite busy as we had to wait a while for things or ask for them 2/3 times, but judging from the local rush of diners this is the Norwich's staple Turkish restaurant. Good food. Ambiance a bit blah. Service needs improvement.
Found this restaurant when coming up to Norwich for a week during the summer. Food was delicious and arrived quickly with very good service. Portion sizes were spot on and overall was good value for money. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the city.
