Absolutely best place in magnolia Texas to eat located just 7 miles from the Texas renaissance festival. The food is phenomenal, first I tried the 1904 which is a brisket sandwich filled with cheese and Texas toast. Then the bacon cheeseburger which was meaty and flavorful. You can taste the spices in the meat with every single bite Next I got the chicken fried steak dinner which was the best meal so far!! The food was so tender it cut with a plastic fork.. For dessert I had strawberry pie and as a pie connoisseur I can attest that this pie is good. The customer service was so well delivered that I felt like a celebrity. The owner even designed a custom Texas cheesesteak sandwich just for me and the owner himself helped cook it!!!

Ohhh! I ate too much! The food looks and tastes great. I had a chicken fried steak and a baked potato. Delicious! My wife had a chopped beef sandwich and some potato salad. So good she was looking for more for tomorrow’s lunch. I ordered a sliced beef sandwich and some macaroni and cheese for lunch tomorrow. If it lasts that long.
The food is great. My issue was service. FYI. If you place order to go, you better stand on their bar top so they don't forget you. A couple that ordered after me got served first while my food was under a heating lamp. I had to stand beside the bar before they even tried getting my food to me. For the price, the service needs to match. But the food is always great!!
We loved The Meating Place! Incredible atmosphere, service, and food! We felt like we were at home and enjoyed the small town Magnolia feel! Thank y'all! God bless!
