We are not regular customers to this pub however our past experiences there have always been pleasant. Today we (a group of 4) went in and approached the bar. There was no door staff guiding customers as to where the enter and exit routes are. A very loud female bar person shouted \SCUSE ME DID YOU JUST COME IN THAT DOOR!\ Everyone looked at us, she was telling other customers \I'm sending them back out\ and the same rude bar person shouted \GET BACK OUT AND COME IN THE OTHER DOOR!\ We did in fact 'get out' and we promptly went to another pub never to return again to The Market Tavern! People were already huddled together and there was no social distancing inside the pub! We believe this bar person needs to learn some hospitality when working in the hospitality industry!

Always busy probably due to the very cheap beer. Good buzz about the place & Covid regs strictly observed.
if we.re ever back doon here this is a place we.d defo come back 2 ...freindly staff ..spotless....an best of all cheep beer ..lol
