Excellent service and great food. We ordered a selection of bar bites and they were all great. All the staff are friendly and professional. Not an expensive meal for two, with a couple of drinks each from a well priced wine list. Ainsworth and Co have done up the Mariners beautifully

What more can I say 5 stars all round. Busy Saturday evening my boyfriend and i hadn't booked anywhere and the Mariners staff went all out to find us a table. We had the best time, lovely friendly staff and the food was excellent. Cheek of beef just melted in your mouth, highly recommended. Thank you for a lovely evening and we can't wait to return.
Very impressive gastro pub/restaurant in the lovely village of Rock. The setting is comfortable and elegant, the staff is really on top of everything and always have a smile when serving the tables. The menu is really good, with different options for different tastes and I must say I've had the best meal of my holidays in Cornwall here. After a delicious meal inside, we were told our table was booked and the staff kindly offered us a table at the balcony overlooking the river. Big win! The only not so good point of the evening was a dessert of chocolate, banana and something else that felt a lot like a breakfast dish...
We visited 21/12 and sat outside on the terrace just because of our own thing rather than it not being covid secure. Pork belly was excellent, so many flavours with that and the sides, son said the burger was the best ever, and my wife loved the curry with a wonderful balance of flavours. Service was excellent, all on time, all at once. The dessert of sticky toffee pudding literally gave us goose bumps. Perfect balance of sharp and sweet, not heavy, again so many complimentary flavours. Best ever. Not cheap, but well worth it. 100% will return. Loved it.
Wonderfully service and really nice cream tea. we didn't have reservations but they went above and beyond to accommodate us on the front terrace. The service from the waiter was friendly and informative. We will definitely be returning
