The Marine Bar & Restaurant

The seafood cocktail was lovely, although the crab linguine was rather oily. The lobster was very tasty, although for an expensive dish I think the fries could've been of better quality. Normally would have a side salad with it. Service was quick and staff friendly.

This is a proper seafood restaurant. Really delicious food and good service. However my husband and I couldn't relax much because most of the staff wasn't wearing face coverings/masks, to be precise only one of the staff was. Also we noticed that after some customers left, they cleaned the table thoroughly but didn't clean the salt and pepper that were on the table. I understand they are not breaking the law but it would be nice if they would wear PPE so that clients could relax instead.

Fantastic restaurant and service. My compliments to the Chef and kitchen staff the food here is 5 star! Table service was also excellent, nothing was too much trouble. If your looking for excellent sea-food, look no further! Reasonably priced too!

Very nice! A little on the expensive side but what a great place and a perfect view of the bay. We stopped for mussels, I can't comment on them as thet were for the girfriend but the beer on tap was nice.

Superb find in Whitby, interesting and sophisticated fish menu (not just fish and chips), sat in the back dining area which was lovely. Excellent service by friendly staff, highly recommended!
