Without doubt The Marina consistently provides the best quality fish and chips in the area. They provide a comprehensive menu all of which is served by friendly and accommodating staff. Except for a very brief spell of closure to put in to place Covid safeguards for staff and customers, The Marina remained open throughout this difficult year to provide a valuable service and lifeline to the local community. To enhance their service further, they introduced an innovative click and collect app that has become hugely popular and soon after followed by call and collect. I’ve tried the rest and these are definitely the best!

My 2nd visit. Portion sizes where much much better, friendly staff and quick service. The food was Very nice, this time, Value for money........However, the Fishcake was Burnt Badly on the underside and i never noticed until i was halfway home (otherwise it would have gone back), i live in Chapel so will use this chippy regular, but i will check in future. There were several Fishcakes in the warmer, so i assume the ones that where fried first were pushed to the front, and to be honest i should have questioned there and then. PLEASE, COOK TO ORDER, Customers will wait for good food, and this could be good food.
