We drove an hour to come enjoy a new experience at this spot after never having been. We were pretty disappointed, we were one of only 3 tables in the bar area but really had trouble receiving service. One male bartender took our order then a female came a while later and asked for our order saying it gets really confusing keeping everything straight when it’s “busy”.. we decided to leave after we finally saw they were distracted by a large party they were serving ( engagement or wedding). After asking for our check- it took so long I had to go to the bar and get it myself. Definitely not the fancy high end experience we thought we would be getting here.

I'll start this off as, I don't make reviews unless I mean it. I came here after not really being impressed at another bar across the street. I mean a lot of this is not really anything but self explanatory .. but the service was remarkable. Danny is remarkable. He's been here for 10 years As I was told which was also self telling haha. But the effort the servers, Felipe was my server and Carlos was bar back, made was so impressive. But I came alone because my birthday is in 2 days, and I wanted to treat myself. So incredibly content. Anyone who's reading this, I highly recommend. Update: I’m going to retract my statement on their night shift unfortunately. It’s not the best look when the servers are talking about their customers right in front of another customer. And also flirting with eachother where it makes it uncomfortable for me as a customer to talk to any of your employees. Wasn’t like this walking in. Was extremely impressed until I stayed till night shift.
Met the Mr for after work cocktails and apps and Monica waited on us. She’s excellent. Accurate, attentive, professional and hospitable. Thank you Monica for a capital experience.

I have the option of updating an existing review, but sometimes new experiences warrant a new review. I’ve always been a weekend visitor at the Rosewood Mansion, but I decided on this Thursday night to come for what I thought would be a quiet night with a nice whiskey. Not only did I have the best time with my bartender, but I ran into other friends who decided this is where they wanted to be as well. If you’re out on a Wednesday or Thursday and want a fun and classy spot for cocktails and conversation; you’ll love it here. Xoxo lorenzo
