Had a wonderful Sunday roast at this traditional and very cozy country pub. Good ambience and clean/modern decor, very attentive and well-timed service, and fantastic food at a good value. Nothing bad to say about this place. Worth the trip. Best pub in the area. All the food from the traditional pork roast with vegetables and Yorkshires to the starters (we had corn fritters and scallops) was very, very good.

Outstanding eatery and pub with excellent selection of beers and cider. Always busy so reservations are recommended. Lovely both inside and out. Superb cuisine, beautifully presented. Luscious sweets. Set in beautiful little village nestling in gorgeous countryside. Nowhere better for many a mile.
Came for Sunday Lunch on a recommendation when staying nearby, in Bovey Tracey. I have to say the food and the service were excellent, and it is also superb value for money. Will definitely visit again.
