Absolutely amazing experience here! The place really blew us away. Service was incredible, the food out of this world and the presentation just incredible. Definitely be going back next year for the wife's birthday again. Michael even allowed us a quick peak in the kitchen and a photo for the wife. Really made her day. What a guy. Can't recommend it enough.

This was one of the best dining experiences I have had in a long time. On par with the Fat Duck but at half the price. I can wholeheartedly recommend The Man Behind The Curtain. I loved the 1980’s rock feel. The staff were amazing and we were grateful for the wine sommelier for answering all of our questions. Having seen the chef on the Great British Menu, it was a dream come true to finally taste the fish and chips course. Finally, thank you for a wonderful evening. The 14 course and flight of wines is a must.

My favourite restaurant experience to date and worth every penny. From the delicious amuse bouche on entering, through the excellent wine selection and the crazy good mains, the XO sweetbreads and the black cod are seriously next level tasty. The service was also amazing. Can’t fault these guys, and would 100% return!

I described this as the most expensive Bush Tucker trial I'd ever experience... As someone who doesn't like sea food & is inherently fussy about food, a tasting menu felt like a pretty daunting prospect! However nothing tastes like anything you've ever eaten before. From start to finish this is about experience - the service, the presentation, the flavours & textures are all indescribable. (Definitely recommend the wine pairing)

It's difficult to describe how good the experience was, from service to taste, the decor to the overall ethos- all were outstanding. If you have the opportunity to go - do, it will be an experience you'll not forget.
