This was the place I chose to celebrate my 60th birthday, with my family, for a birthday lunch. It was an inspired choice, with a table for five to satisfy, this was no problem for the pub to serve. A beautiful blue eyed server waited on us perfectly. The food incredible and my birthday lunch became a lovely, memorable occassion. Thank you for the welcome and the service. Will be back again very soon. Well done you xx

Nice pub, located in a good setting at Antons Gowt Lock System, you can park up there and walk along the Witham River, 3 miles West to Langrick Bridge, Cafe at the end of it, or head South on the River to Boston Marina and the start of the Town, there is also a Cafe there. If you're not walking, the Pub provides good food and Ales, with seating outside and plenty of parking, nice staff. Only downside is the remote location, need a nominated driver.
Lovely place. Hidden gem just outside of Boston! The waiter was kind, courteous and attentive and they gave us big, home cooked portions at very reasonable prices. The food was lovely and a great selection on the menu to suit all budgets! One of the highlights of this trip to the Fens for me! Thank you!
Very Covid safe as we had the full restaurant to ourselves last night for our family meal for 6. Good menu with lots of choice and lots of specials. The food portions were good and all served very hot. I can recommend the steak pie as the pastry was lovely. Choice of accompaniments ie chips, potatoes, rice, veg, salad etc - was nice to choose ourselves what was wanted with each main. Also happy to serve half and half chips and rice. We like it when places are flexible. Under 100 for 2 starters, 6 mains, 3 desserts and alcoholic drinks. Would definitely come back again when staying in Boston.
Had take away Sunday lunch yesterday (15th November 2020) and only way to describe it, Fantastic. Will definitly order again, plus well done for all the safety measures in place. Well done.
