Just had a takeaway beef dinner from the girls at the hatter and it was awesome. If you like good food at reasonable prices I couldn't recommend it more . Cakes are nice too

Love this place. Lots of staff and very good food. Nice service.
Every meal I've ever had here has been delicious, they have a good varied menu and always have specials on display, my current favourite dish is the cheese ploughman's salad which is just incredible and very filling. Their Sunday lunches are superb with a good selection of fresh veg to go with the choices of meat. However I think what makes this quaint little cafe extra special is the staff, they obviously get on really well with each other and this shows by the banter they have with each other but it also transfers to their customers who they make feel at ease and incredibly welcome. I've been going here for a couple of years now for lunch on Sundays with my parents but also felt totally comfortable this week popping in for lunch on my own. I cannot rate this cafe highly enough and although we will only be able to get meals via take away for the moment I hope it won't be too long before its back to normal and we can go back to enjoying our eat in Sunday lunches again!
Absolutely fabulous as always. Lovely food and lovely staff. Couldn't ask for, or get, better.
Lovely pleasant tea shop. Food was amazing and a good portion size. Friendly staff who were great with children. Would recommend.
