One of the best breakfasts I've had! Lovely outside seating area but equally nice inside. Lots to choose from on the menu. Great quality produce including the coffee. Highly recommend!

Lovely food at a very reasonable price - I chose the lentil burger which was delicious! Ordering on our phones was quick and easy, social distancing was maintained, and all staff wore masks at all times! The only issue we had was that despite booking in advance, we were told we didn't have a reservation as they didn't write us in their book for the evening - luckily the lady at the door found a spare table for us so we could enjoy a meal which we were very pleased about :)
They're doing a good job at The Lyme Bay to keep customers and staff safe during these socially distanced times. On entry customers are cordially met by a member of staff (face coverings required) and the ordering system is explained. A good system too: QR code to access the menu, order, notified when ready, collect / make payment. Simples. One way system in operation....in at front, exit through rear onto Marine Parade. Only called in for a swift coffee and pan au chocolate- really nice too. The menu looks good, as did the food we observed being served to other customers. We shall be back to sample! Oh yes, dogs allowed too. Enjoy.
We visited in early November,. Very impressed, all the staff were excellent and professional. Great menu choice, the best toasted cheese and local ham sandwich with garnish I have ever had. All Covid protocols strictly observed. An excellently run and managed establishment, well worthy of 5 stars and highly recommended.
Great coffee and pastry. Excellent COVID protections plus very clean too. Friendly staff and an amazing view, with outside log burner as well.
