The second time we've visited The Lookout. It's in a fantastic location overlooking the harbour and the sea. We had a coffee and a very generous slice of ginger cake, which was very tasty.However the let down was when we reached the top of the steps to go into the cafe'. Part of the outside area floor, tables, chairs and handrail were covered in bird dropping with the startling culprits roosting above the area. Thankfully there was lots of unoccupied tables inside otherwise there was no way we would have bought food. The roosting bird problem really needs to be addressed as soon as possible for hygiene and health risk reasons.
Arrived 30 minutes after breakfast finished but they still did us a sausage sandwich and with a bowl of chips delicious. Excellent service and excellent food. Thanks
