Great pub with fantastic food. Hand sanitizer at the door and a one way system ensured we could adhere to covid rules. Even on a Monday night there was a wonderful friendly atmosphere. The best bit though was Claire's 6X pie absolutely delicious totally filled us up, which was a shame as the puds sounded great on the menu. Definitely will be back Xx

Lovely food and great value but completely spoilt by the older gentleman that took my order telling me I had to pay as I went because otherwise I might do a runner!!! When I laughed and said I wouldn't do a runner for a 5.99 meal deal (curry and a drink) he looked at me and said that's what they all say. He was very grumpy... Clearly didn't want to be there. It was only the first day back opening after lockdown. There were only 2 other tables occupied and it was early. I was shocked at his poor customer service... The young lad who brought us our food was brilliant. Friendly and helpful. What a shame he was let down by the miserable older guy.

Great to see a pub with a separate vegan menu .But disappointed at being served up Linda McCartney sausages for sausage and mash at gastro prices ? For the price I was charged I was expecting something better .
