Nice local pub with good food and a pleasant atmosphere. Do some nice real ales now and again can be hit and miss, which is mainly down to the turnover of ale I suppose as it's not overly busy

Very friendly. Welcoming. Looked like a good choice on the menu. We ordered chicken supreme roast and pork roast. It arrived swimming in watery gravy. Roast potatoes were hard and tasted overcooked, you know when you make them, let them cool down then reheat. The veg was hard and tasteless. The meat was good. The food was served lukewarm, not hot. Maybe ordering something not roast would have been better. Last time we were here we had baked camembert and it was delicious. For the price, it’s a disappointment. 14.50 for chicken and 13.50 for pork.
All my favourite things are on the menu. I had a delicious duck dish after padron peppers starter, divine sticky toffee pud to finish. Friendly and fast service. Local real ale on tap. We'll be back.
Lovely little pub very kid and dog friendly. Made us feel really welcome. Quick service and the food was great. The little pub dogs are a delight. Will deffo be back, great place
Our first experience out of lockdown...finally got hokdvif some self raising flower. Lovely vegetarian burger and drinks and strawberries to go. Thanks!!
