A beautiful walk from brookhouse farm. But a disappointment for the food. Steak looking like it had been cooked in a warm bath. Chips as though they had been reheated for months. Starters where packed fresh from the freezer with halloumi fries questioning if.they are a better investment that gold/dimonds. Staff very friendly and in the environment all mask wearing. Building itself was beautiful and the interior was historic and raw. Just such a shame the food was so heavily unworthy.of the 4mile walk.

Very nice old pub with fantastic beer garden & views. Good parking. Adult meals were good. Visit was spoiled as children's pasta dish was ketchup & pasta. Not very \Gastro pub\!!! We weren't charged for the children's meals when brought to the attention of the waiting staff.

Lovely, out of the way cottage pub. Bespoke tree seating outside and always a friendly atmosphere. I love that you can buy eggs through an honesty box on the way up the path - we bought duck and chicken eggs which were both really tasty!
