Just been for our first meal since lockdown. The service was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Have been here many times before and no complaints but have to say the quality of the food was the best. I think this was due to the Sunday roast coming fresh out of the kitchen and not served from the carvery. The vegetables and meat tasted so fresh compared to when they are kept on a hot plate for so long. Our special thanks to Jake the chef who took the time to come and speak to us and who prepared such wonderful fresh food served on our plates. Plenty of veg and sides to accompany our meal. A lovely evening was had by all. The standard of service and food we received was excellent. Will certainly be returning again. Thank you.

Very comfortable accommodation and food and drink was affordable.
We had a lovely lunch here! Friendly staff and great service. Good social distancing measures in place. Food was delicious!!! Very impressed.

We had a lovely meal here tonight, we did the eat out to help out scheme. We will definitely be back to eat here, even after the scheme this month ends. The staff are great and the food is delicious x

I dined at the lodge restaurant, I did not stay over. The restaurant is a wonderful little gem, the woodfired pizzas are a real treat. Certainly recommend
