Had a a nice Nyonya meal with my family here. I liked to commend the Chicken Curry, Kang Kong, sweet and sour fish and the Chendol. The service was fast and place cozy. And it is conveniently located in the heart of Gurney Plaza. Great place to have Nonya meals.

Nice peranakan food, great for family lunch/dinner, usually crowded.

Very disappointing experience.... At first, I thought it would be a wonderful opportunity for my family to have an authentic nyonya dinner here. We really miss our nyonya grandma's cooking. But, my expectation crashed into a million pieces when I saw the main courses of "asam pedas" fish and black pepper chicken with spring onions were basically pre-heated dishes upon order. The dishes served were not even sufficiently warm. The chef also chose to use "fried" fish fillets and chicken pieces. So, it was very doubtful if the dishes were actually freshly prepared. Although the "asam pedas" fish had the obvious combination of spiciness & sourness but we found it was also very sweet. The lady fingers used were hard and chewy. Sad to say, we had eaten better "asam pedas" fish (with fresh fish fillets instead of fried ones) at "economy" rice stalls and at cheaper prices too. As for the black pepper chicken, it had a strong black pepper flavour but it was oily and salty too. Besides these 2 main dishes, we also ordered "otak-otak". It was another disappointment. First, it came in a bowl. No sign of the traditional banana leave. Not even for garnish. Second, we could hardly taste the "daun kadok"...the signature of nyonya otak-otak. It was merely a creamy coconut milk custard with spices. Again, it was also rather sweet. For appetizer, we ordered "pie tee" cups. The shells were soft...they were not crunchy. I love "pie tee" and I was so sad... Lastly, we had "chendols" for dessert. Well, let's just say, there are better ones out there... As for the service, all the staff seem overworked since they were not smiling...not even the cashier. The dishes were also served in a messy manner.

Don’t eat here. Our experience is that the vegetables aren’t washed properly. The kangkung was full of sand. I don’t mean like one or two grains of sand, no, I mean sand throughout the dish. It was horrible and impossible to eat. We sent it back to the kitchen and they made us a new one, but it also had sand in it. That you get it wrong once is bad enough, but twice? It is inexcusable. How hard is it to wash vegetables? Don’t be fooled by the Nyonya branding. This is terrible.

RM25 pp. Busiest place during lunch in the lower level food area. Nyonya chilly prawn is way too sweet, not enough spicy. Pandan Chicken tastes good and interesting.

Even at 2.30pm, there is still a lot of people. Quite popular. Saw some malays, so this should be halal. Food is good. The rendang chicken is nice. The rice has a tinge of coconut smell, since it's nasi lemak. The beef rendang is disappointing. Plain water is chargeble at RM1.30. Price is reasonable by restaurant standard. Must add 10% service charge & 6% service charge.

You can find this place in Gurney Plaza. The food tastes good.. love the service. The waiter is friendly and they food was prepared at a fast pace. One downside is the space.. this restaurant is rather small and feels overcrowded when there is a lot of ppl. Another con is that the food is rather pricey..
