Excellent food, typical pub grub, we all had something different off menu and everyone's meal was spot on, great value before Eat Put To Help Out reduction! And the pub quiz was great fun, already booked meal and quiz for next week. Warm and friendly atmosphere too!

2nd time here with my two dogs and I can't fault it. Good service, friendly staff and good food. Traditional pub food with decent size portions. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. 5 out of 5 for this place from me.

The live music was provided by the brilliant Conspiracy Rising!!! But this time they played 'unplugged ' and they were absolutely amazing!!! The Lion and Royal is a very welcoming village pub with a great atmosphere!
