Amazing meal, amazing services, a super friendly host and all amazingly well priced. We had the fish and chips and fish pie and both were delicious. They were so sweet to our puppy as well and game him a sausage to eat. Would definitely visit again.

The problem I have with this place is that I live 87 miles away and cannot get here more often! It's an excellent restaurant serving a great range of food. Has a good selection of wine and once again we were very well looked after by the staff and the owner. This was my second visit and it didn't disappoint in any way. I will be back.
The first sighting of this restaurant was slightly underwhelming having heard so many fantastic reviews about this place. We had previously visited Aldeburgh several times for several nights and had never got round to trying out this restaurant. I was really impressed with the food at this restaurant. The calf’s liver was simply divine - I recommend it thoroughly. The service was really fantastic, and the general vibe was extremely delightful and I really enjoyed our meal. I would definitely recommend it. However, having given it an ‘Excellent’ I would give 2 very small points to improve, although I can’t say I really care about these: 1. Menu choice was slightly concise and would like to see more variety in the future 2. The phone line could be open a bit more although when we did leave a message the service was very quick and helpful. Recommendations would be the Calf’s Liver and Dover Sole, and of course booking a reservation - it gets pretty busy (obviously)
Really fabulous food, great service and an all round lovely experience. Extra marks for the divine bread and butter pudding with whisky cream. Highly recommended.
The scallops as a main were perfectly cooked and delicious! Shared a small dish of chunky fries resulting in a fantastic meal out without getting over stuffed or going off my diet! Thanks Lighthouse Staff!
