Delicious food, good service & great value for money. I have to say I was quite dubious about eating here after some recent negative reviews but we are staying local & thought we’d try it. And we had a great meal & the service was really good. I had the steak & ale pie & my wife had the classic burger. Both were delicious! And we had the banoffee pie for dessert which was also yummy. Yes it’s not the best looking place but the quality of food & the service make it well worth the visit. I wish I could go again to try more things on the menu.

Lovely lunch today at the lighthouse inn, great atmosphere and very friendly staff especially the man behind the bar who I guessed was the owner or manager. Food was great and the pricing is very reasonable too! Will definitely come back on our next trip down! Also hand gel stations available to use on entry and exit along with a box to leave a number for test and trace, felt very safe and looked after! Also dog friendly so big bonus for us!
Excellent food. Friendly staff and reasonably priced.. web site stated camp site full but only one van on it. Not a problem stayed in the overflow car park and was allowed to empty fill up and use the showers. Great place would recommend. Had evening meal and returned in the morning to breakfast. Couldn't fault quality or service. Extremely covid safe. With all guidelines followed to the letter. Felt very safe.
Just reopened after covid. Very well thought out layout. Everything you need. Food fantastic & very well priced. Staff were great, friendly & attentive, without being over the top. Happy to go back again.
