A great tradional pub in the Heart of Hereford with a excellent choice of well looked after ales and good selection of dishes on its food menu. The Landlord is a true host who knows his trade well. Along with his friendly staff he always ensures that guests whether locals or visitors to the city receive a warm welcome throughout the year.

We went here for lunch, and had a lovely time. The landlord is a great guy and super friendly, and bought over a printout with the history of the pub since I was busy taking photos. Which I thought was very nice of him. They have a good range of beers and wines, and the food is mediterranean. We had the tasting platter, and a couple of other dishes which were more than enough for the three of us to share. It was quite quick and very tasty, and I especially loved the big beans! I would definitely go back!
