Always worth a visit, Leys Park is one of our favourite places for a walk and to kick a few balls with the children. The occasional game of cricket is an added bonus, still trying to understand the rules but it sure looks fun.

As an oap. I didn't actually use the Leys park and play area, which is no doubt Ideal for the young at heart. . My visit, was purely for the exercise and a very welcome refreshment at the 'Coffee Shed' that is conveniently also on the Leys. Due to the situation with Covid at the moment all refreshment is 'take away' only. However there is almost a normal menu to choose from, Monday to Sunday and open from 10 am until 3 pm. Providing the weather is favourable there is plenty of seating all around the Leys.
So muddy at the moment (Dec '20); you need wellies or risk ruining your shoes! I feel like Witney should do better with its play areas. Carterton does much better.
Big open space great for anything really. Witney carnival is held here as well
