Just had a great meal at the Leyland Arms. Food of a very good standard from a much improved menu. Competitively priced featuring value for money steaks on a Friday evening. Hosted by a local Welsh speaking family, service is friendly but not intrusive. A quirky layout adds to the atmosphere of being a real community pub, which also welcomes tourists. Definitely recommend.

Very friendly staff, well kept ale. Had a shrimp cocktail to start which was lovely, but the Madras curry main off the specials board, for me was a little bland, and service was a little slow. But the dining room was lovely, roaring fire, cozy.
