Lively public place at weekends,small compact venue for live music. Cask beer available here and an array of keg beers and lager,also cider(Thatchers) Special offers throughout the week. Tea and coffee also available. Great juke box with thousands and thousands of songs to suit all tastes. Pool,darts and gaming machine also here. Nice small outside (rear) area with seating which is part covered.
We stumbled across this pub whilst looking at ale pubs and walked into a friendly atmosphere with a band playing Country Roads. I really enjoyed my visit to this pub and it was good to go and see. The staff were really friendly and as this was our first night up north after a rough day it made it all the more a nice visit. I would recommend visiting this pub however make sure you go on one of there bands nights to enjoy the entertainment they provide.
