A good selection of gluten-free options and overall great food. For me, best place in Tenterden for lunch.

Great lunch, reasonable prices. Beautiful building in Tenterden serving great British food. Good service, lots to choose from and the cakes looked amazing

Lovely welcome and home cooked meal in a cosy environment on the high street. Can recommend ham egg and chips served with two just perfectly cooked fried eggs! A good pot of tea to wash it down provided with a jug of hot water for topping up the teapot. We were tempted to indulge in a dessert and the individual homemade strawberry Pavlova was sweet crisp with the perfect marshmallow gooey inside. We have been before many years ago and it is still good quality.

Wonderful old fashioned building. Warm homely feel. Friendly staff, fully CoVid compliant. At last but not least delicious mouthwatering food. We will be back!!

Coffee was machine made which was disappointing. Tasted very milky with that fake foam on top. Love a proper coffee with beans. Absolutely no scones whatsoever so had lemon cake. It was nice and moist but it was a very small slice. I like cake and coffee and at 13 for two it was more expensive than I usually pay. 11 tops normally. You need to go to some nurseries and farm shops to see what is out there folks. The interior is a bit run down and the tables were sticky from anti bac cleaning. Don't sit in the room to the left, you can hear the dishwasher churning away! Staff were friendly enough but won't be going back.
