Excellent service and outstanding food....nicely spaced tables and a great atmosphere...highly recommended The Laurels...you are not rushed, nice bar for a few drinks before and after meal. Starters we had scallops, salt and pepper chicken and pate. Mains were steak stroganoff, turbot and lobster and a blue ribeye steak. All cooked perfectly..
Very good course at a reasonable price. Course is well maintained and the staff at the clubhouse are friendly and welcoming.

Living in the village, I have come here many times and progressively seen it get worse. My lunch visit is sadly the last. Poor food for the price with Hinds head and the D&P offering better. Very poor atmosphere, virtually empty. Staff seem to be constantly changing, it makes you question what the problem is working here.
