Wonderful little fish & chips shop without all the craziness of typical touristy places. Family owned and super friendly staff. The fish was great - seemed caught, not frozen or bagged. Would definitely come again!

Decent local fish and chips. Came at 7pm which was an hour before closing so I guess that's why the fish and the chicken felt a bit dry and soggy as it wasn't just out of the fryer but has been cooked a while ago. Overall service is good and fast, staff reasonably friendly too. Maybe best to come during peak times so food is hot and fresh
Great food, friendly service and good prices. We thoroughly enjoyed the authentic fish and chips experience and the Cornish Pasty was delicious as well. We went for the large haddock and were not disappointed: huge, perfectly done and very flavorful. Lots of chips, sauces and kindness were offered by the staff. My only complaint was that there was no beer, but it didn't take away from the experience.
good fish and chips, the fish is fresh and has a nice crunchy batter to it. only issue i have is they charge a couple of extra to eat in. so best to do take away and sit in the park close by.
The fried Cod is superb. Crispy on the outside and tender juicy on the inside. The crispy batter is quite thin which I like it very much. The potato chip served hot but just normal still i like it. The owner is very courteous. Need to go early because seating area is quite small
