Lovely old pub with friendly and attentive staff. The menu had plenty of interesting choices making it hard to choose! The sriracha cauliflower with peanut sauce served in a flat bread was delicious and my partner’s venison was excellent. The new owners have done a good job with this place...good chef, great staff and a comfortable atmosphere.... we’ll definitely visit again.

Just changed the menu and its brilliant. Excellent vegan/vegetarian choices and the desserts are fabulous.
Visited this little gem last night as a stopover in our camper van. Was not expecting to have such a friendly welcome. Fantastic food and great staff. Really good experience and will definitely return
I liked the interior and the friendly staff. We had our meals upstairs in a pleasant room. Everyone enjoyed their meals except me. I had fish and chips. I found the cod to be tasteless and the mushy peas not to my liking. The mint in the peas was too strong. It's a pity for what was an enjoyable evening.
Beautiful location and venue. Quality food and service, staff couldn't do enough for us, very attentive table service, will revisit.
