Doggy friendly (very important). He was treated like royalty. Food is lovely, fairly priced. Safe restrictions in place considering the currant world we are in. Visited 3 times in one week. Very friendly and helpful staff too. Will certainly be back.

In the seaside village of hemsby lies this superb public house. There is a range of affordable meals to choose from which taste really nice. It has a small park at the rear for kids with a pirate ship climbing frame. There is indoor and outdoor space and sections dog friendly for the four legged customers. The staff were polite and we felt looked after. A lovely experience all round and comes reccomended.
So where do I start..... If you sit outside you can use a QR code and order drinks which arrive very quickly but if you are inside you have to go to the bar even though the menu says they offer table service. The owner was they try to offer table service but when it’s full it’s really hard and they simply don’t want to compromise on the quality of food and service so better to do it properly or not at all. Ok next if you wanted a Lemon Gordon’s gin and use the QR code they charge 6 and yes it’s a mistake with the app but 24 hours later they haven’t fixed the glitch which is disappointing but have been told the company which runs the service needs to fix it so hard to argue with that The staff are wearing face guards and are doing there best to keep the place clean but one the way system doesn’t work and no one is following is following the system. Today 25th Aug we have a table booked which has been reserved and was waiting for us which is great however to order food you have had to go to the bar and order and just our luck today no ribs or lasagne which is what we wanted. However that being said we order food at 7.35 and it arrived fresh and hit just over 15 mins later. The food was lovely with great portions and was full of taste. So in summary the drinks ordering process not fantastic but service, staff and food make up for the other minor issues. Top tip book a table to ensure they can cater for you.
Spent some time here on our holiday. During lunch sitting outside also an evening eating indoors. Service fab especially Anna Marie and the lovely owner Lorna and her niece, who I must say very accommodating. Hemsby a real traditional fish and chip and Candy floss place. The sandy beach is stunning and clean and a stone's throw from the pub. A brilliant family fun British holiday.
Just had a lovely meal at the lacon Arms. Nice food, good selection of drinks and dog friendly, so perfect for us. The highlight for us was the staff. They couldn't do enough for us and couldn't fault any of them. Would highly recommend. Thankyou Lacon arms for a lovely evening out.
